We encourage & support people with disabilities to experience the thrill of alpine skiing in Canterbury, New Zealand.
Keeping our Adaptive Snowsports Canterbury community safe whilst on ASC activities is always our highest priority.
That’s why in 2022 we will require anyone who is eligible for a Vaccine Pass to provide evidence of this to attend ASC activities or events in person from March 2022.
Currently this means that anyone over the age of 12 years and 3 months will need a valid Vaccine Pass to participate. Anyone who is under this age will not be required to produce a Vaccine Pass to participate unless Vaccine Pass requirements change to include them. If this happens we will advise everyone by email & post it on our website.
As this is intended to be a temporary step until New Zealand moves out of the “traffic light” system, and/or Vaccine Passes are no longer required, we will be reviewing the policy regularly across the year and when changes are made by the Government. When this happens we will advise everyone by email & post it on our website.
This policy will apply to all Members, Helpers and Instructors until further notice.
